Niro Ceramic Group is proud to announce its partnership with the Malaysia Green Building Council (MalaysiaGBC) to co-host a series of seminars titled “ESG Fundamentals: The Sustainable Built Environment Everyone Should Know!” These seminars will take place in Malaysia’s Central, Northern, Southern regions, as well as Kota Kinabalu, during Q2 and Q3 of 2023.
As part of MalaysiaGBC’s Roadmap Initiative for ESG, these seminars aim to promote the importance of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles in the building industry. The topics covered will include valuable insights into Malaysia’s ESG Approach and Outlook, as well as highlight ESG Risks and Opportunities for MalaysiaGBC members.
Distinguished speakers for the seminars include Ir. Ahmad Izdihar, a registered professional mechanical engineer with 20 years of experience as a consultant for the building industry, Mr. BK Sinha, Vice Chair of the Asia Pacific Network (APN) of the WorldGBC, and Mr. Mitch Gelber, the CEO of MalaysiaGBC.
Niro Ceramic Group will host the first of these seminars at its headquarters in Shah Alam, where the rooftops have been outfitted with solar panels to power the whole building, demonstrating its commitment to promoting sustainability in the building industry. The registration for the seminars is open for free to all MalaysiaGBC members, and for a nominal fee to non-members. GBI facilitators, affiliated parties, and students may also enjoy a discounted rate.
We are excited about this opportunity to collaborate with MalaysiaGBC and contribute to promoting sustainable development practices in the building industry. Learn more about the seminars here: https://mgbc.org.my/esgfundamentals2023
