18 December 2023: In a recent collaboration with Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), Niro Ceramic Group proudly sponsored a thought-provoking talk by the renowned Prof. Dr. Ar. Jimmy Lim, the visionary architect behind Jimmy Lim Design. The event — graciously organised by USM’s Archi Club and spearheaded by Ar. Bee Eu Tan — provided USM students with valuable insights into the world of tropical architecture.
Prof. Dr. Ar. Jimmy Lim’s talk, aptly titled “A Chat with Jimmy Lim about the Journey into Tropical Architecture“, shared his experiences and innovative approach to designing in tropical climates. His wealth of knowledge and innovative approach to architecture left an indelible mark on the eager minds of the students present.
Niro Ceramic Group, as the proud sponsor of the event, actively engaged with the university students. The Group took the opportunity to introduce its products and ethos, fostering a deeper connection with the future architects. The interaction aimed to create a bridge between academia and industry, allowing students to gain valuable insights into the practical aspects of the field.
A special thanks to Ar. Bee Eu Tan for the invitation. This collaboration exemplifies Niro Ceramic Group’s commitment to supporting education and fostering a dynamic relationship between industry leaders and the next generation of architects.
