Responsible Resource Consumption
As a manufacturing group, we have the responsibility to utilise non-renewable resources in a manner that is as efficient as possible, that minimises wastage. Our commitment to responsible resource consumption also extends to our energy use, which we derive from a mix of renewable and non-renewable sources. As proof of our commitment, our headquarters in Malaysia is powered entirely by solar energy, and carton boxes are made of eco-friendly materials that minimise energy consumption and waste, and are biodegradable.
The mismanagement of waste and its release into nature is a major threat to the biodiversity of our planet. To play our role in preserving biodiversity, Niro Ceramic Group commits to the treatment and disposal of waste as a result of our operations in a responsible manner, as outlined by international best practices.
Niro Ceramic Group understands that carbon emission is among the drivers of rapid climate change. We closely monitor the emissions that are created as a result of our operations and continually make effort towards reducing and offsetting them. As a group, we have taken a pledge to become fully carbon neutral by 2030.
